I am drawn to watches whose proportions feel settled and whose movements were made to be serviced, not merely admired through a case back.

I prefer an honest dial and a well-maintained mechanism to cosmetic perfection. Replacement crystals, straps and service parts are noted because continued use is part of the object’s history.
