The object
Built around a slender steel frame, this road bicycle expresses speed through proportion rather than graphics. The narrow tubes, curved fork and compact fittings reflect a period when performance depended on skilled fabrication and careful adjustment.
Mechanical work has focused on safe, fluent use. The frame finish and age-related marks remain visible, while bearings, cables and braking surfaces have been attended to.
Movement preserved
A bicycle is complete only in motion. This one remains in the collection as a usable machine, not a static reconstruction.
