In Use Since collects only the information needed to answer enquiries, send requested updates and complete any agreed transaction.
01
Enquiries and correspondence
When you use the contact form, your name, address, message and any information you choose to include are sent by email so the enquiry can be answered. Form submissions are not retained as a separate database in WordPress.
To limit automated abuse, a short-lived rate-limit counter derived from a salted network identifier may be processed for up to fifteen minutes. The raw network address is not stored in that counter. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the question or transaction.
02
Updates
Collection updates are delivered by Buttondown. When you submit the newsletter form, your email address and associated technical information are transferred to Buttondown to manage the subscription and prevent abuse. Buttondown sends a confirmation email, and the subscription is not active until you follow its confirmation link.
Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe. No address submitted through the contact form is added to the mailing list. For information about Buttondown’s processing and your choices, see the Buttondown privacy policy.
03
Orders and service providers
Where an object is purchased, contact, delivery and payment-related information is processed only as needed to fulfil the order, meet accounting obligations and handle any return or claim.
Payment, hosting, shipping and professional service providers receive only the information required for their role and process it under their own applicable terms.
04
Access, correction and deletion
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held by In Use Since, subject to records that must be retained for legal, accounting or legitimate administrative purposes.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent through the contact form. This notice will be updated before any material change in analytics, cookies or mailing-list processing is introduced.
